SpeakTrue provides practical speech tools for everyday communication support.

Use text-to-speech to turn typed text into spoken audio with configurable voices, models, and voice settings. Use speech-to-text to record audio and review an editable transcript. Use speech-to-speech to convert recorded speech through a transcription-to-speech workflow.

The soundboard helps you save, organize, reorder, replay, and share reusable audio clips. Voice cloning support guides you through recording or importing sample audio, running quality checks, and managing user-owned cloned voices.

SpeakTrue is designed for people who need flexible communication support, including users with speech impairments, disabilities, or changing day-to-day communication needs. It is also useful for anyone who wants a focused speech workflow for drafting, converting, organizing, and reusing audio.

SpeakTrue uses Supabase for account-backed app services and ElevenLabs for requested AI speech processing. The app asks for microphone permission only when you record audio for transcription, speech-to-speech, or voice clone samples. Review the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use before publishing the listing.

Screenshot rules:

Use Android UI from the signed release or internal-test build.
Use JPEG or 24-bit PNG without alpha, max 8MB per file, 320px and 3840px side bounds, and a longest side no more than 2x the shortest side.
Avoid private user content, real emails, provider keys, auth tokens, and generated content tied to a real user.
Show the actual feature screens, not marketing mockups.
Keep text legible and avoid claims about rank, awards, price promotions, or unsupported platforms.

Data Safety Source Mapping

Use docs/privacy-policy.md and docs/ops/ANDROID_PLAY_RELEASE_CHECKLIST.md as the source of truth.

User content: submitted text, recordings for STT/STS, voice clone samples, generated/transcribed content, and soundboard files/metadata.
Account and identifiers: email/account ID/session-linked app data when signed in.
App activity/settings: usage signals, voice/model/preferences, dictionary/presets, and settings sync where applicable.
Diagnostics: crash/performance/other diagnostics if collected by app platform tooling.
Sharing: ElevenLabs receives only user content needed for requested AI speech processing; Supabase handles auth, database, edge functions, and optional storage.
Tracking: no cross-app or cross-site tracking, advertising data broker sharing, or sale of personal data.
Account deletion: in-app deletion is available from Settings > Account, and the web deletion resource is https://haddadios.github.io/SpeakTrue/account-deletion.

Release Proof Still Required

Replace [store-support-email] in Play Console.

Verify public policy URLs with python3 scripts/verify_android_play_policy_urls.py --live.
Capture Android screenshots from the release/internal-test build.
Configure the upload key and upload signed AAB to internal testing.
Complete App content, Data safety, App access, and policy declarations in Play Console.
Run the redacted live smoke after required Supabase Edge Functions are deployed.
Record final redacted proof in docs/ops/ANDROID_PLAY_RELEASE_EVIDENCE_TEMPLATE.md after external checks run.
